The Greater Lynn Photographic Association is a group of photo-hobbyists dedicated to "teaching the craft of the camera and exploring the art of photography." The membership is a group of serious photographers ranging from young adults to retirees and from total beginners to a Pulitzer Prize winning professional, with most of us somewhere in between. Membership is open to everyone, and neither a photographic portfolio, nor fancy camera equipment is required.Beyond regular programming, GLPA members have a tradition of involvement with junior high, high school, and adults in local communities. A number of these projects receive support from outside grants. Of particular note is the Greater Lynn International, which brings the work of photographers from around the world to audiences in the area.
