The Library is one of the main sources in the Valley for genealogical information. There is a large collection family histories, Acadian genealogies and genealogical dictionaries, marriage and other Parish records including Quebec and New Brunswick, local census dating back to the 1700{s, and a large collection of antique photographs and daguerotypes. The genealogy/local history room does not have special hours, and is open while the library is open.
