The Madera County Arts Council is a private, non-profit organization working to support and promote all arts in Madera County. Madera County Arts Council was established in 1982 by the Madera County Board of Supervisors. We provide Madera County residents and visitors access to art and culture through diverse programs and services. We promote art education by enriching school curricula and other community activities. We also stimulate and support local arts groups and individual artists within the county and serve all generations and multi-cultural groups. Develop public and private financial support for the arts. We play a role in the economic development of the area through promotion of the arts and encourage the promotion of a wide variety of public art and initiate fundraising activities to sponsor art in public places.
