The Scranton Library, located at 801 Boston Post Road in the heart of downtown Madison, offers much more than good books; it’s a center for town information, a learning and resource facility equipped with computers, an exciting environment for children’s programs and art exhibits, and a gathering spot for community organizations.Our staff is ready to assist you with leisure and research information needs, to recommend a good book to read, teach you how to use the online catalog or electronic databases, or provide interlibrary loan service.Visit the library to obtain your free library card, bringing proof of Madison residence with you. Your Scranton Library card may be used in any public library in Connecticut under the statewide Connecticard program. (If you are a resident of another town, you must use your hometown library card at the Scranton Library.)
