Established in 1983, the Big Apple Bakery brings traditionally baked breads, pastries, cakes and prepared meals to food lovers in Manahawkin and Southern Ocean County, New Jersey. We also reach Big Apple Bakery customers around the country through our Mail Order services. Founded by the Padovano family, our bakery has been operated continuously under our direction for 27 years. Our store has an on-site bakeshop where we produce all our fantastic items beginning in the early morning hours and continuing throughout the day. With an emphasis on consistency, flavor, tradition and integrity of ingredients, we have worked to create an active culinary laboratory where one can experience everything from Cuban Pork Sandwiches, homemade Eggplant Parmesean, hand made Pecan Danish Coffee Rings and just about everything in between. In the process we{ve gained a reputation for developing unique, full flavored, traditionally made foodstuffs from all over the world.
