Margaret Batzer is Michigan’s first Registered Acupuncturist. She is nationally Board-Certified in Acupuncture through the NCCAOM, and maintains her certification with continuing education annually. Margaret earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, a nationally accredited program. Her formal training includes over 3300 hours in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Western Sciences, and Zen Shiatsu. Ms. Batzer served on the staff of the West Michigan Regional Cancer and Blood Center from 2003-08, where she worked with a team of health care professionals to develop the Complementary and Integrative Medicine program. While at WMRCBC, she treated numerous cancer and hematology patients with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Ms. Batzer has been an active professional member of the Michigan Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 2003.
