Great Lakes Lawn and Landscape is a full-service lawn care and landscaping company in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago, serving mainly McHenry County and parts of Kane County. Great Lakes was founded by Ken and Michelle Felgar, who began operations in the spring of 1993. The company was created as a way to bring an honest, straightforward program of fertilization and weed control to the homeowner at reasonable prices. We wanted to use as few pesticides as possible, so our goal was to make your lawn as healthy as possible. After many customer requests, we expanded our company to include mowing, landscaping, pruning, aerating, and brick pavers and patios. So now, we basically do almost everything in the dirt. Our name was chosen because of our love of the Great Lakes Region.
