I have photographed thousands of paintings of every kind for hundreds of different artists. I use the new Nikon D800e camera with a 36 meg chip and Nikon flat-field copy lenses. The full-frame CMOS chip D800e can create a single shot 200 megabyte, 16-bit file of outstanding quality. It contains no anti-aliasing filter which results in pure color and incredible image sharpeness.. I can easily handle works under glass or glossy paintings., as well as over-size or very difficult work.. I{m also an expert retoucher and can fix damaged artwork digitally.
