In 1977, Tom Fisher moved his business from Exchange Alley in the French Quarter to West Esplanade in the heart of Metairie, calling it Fisher and Sons to include his wife Chloe and family in the endeavor. With his son Craig learning by his side, Tom began to build his business, making regular customers return time and again. Tom{s daughter, Chloe Jr, joined the family business in 1982 to help wait on customers and keep the showcases stocked with unique and unusual pieces. Her husband, Barry Bares, is always ready to wait on customers and keeps the place decorated and inviting, no matter what the occasion.
