Prime Shine Express Car Wash washed its first car on April 11th 1991 on McHenry Avenue in Modesto, California. Since that day Prime Shine has serviced millions of customers who desire not only a quick and high quality car wash but one that is reasonably priced. Norm Porges, owner of Prime Shine Express, created the washes with the intent to change the way the consumer thinks about car washing. Norm wanted to fill the void between the timely and pricey full service car wash and the laborious self-service option.
