Sharon Fields has been practicing Criminal Law since graduating in 1996 from the University of Utah College of Law. Ms. Fields knows "the system," and gets excellent results for her clients due to her experience on both sides: as a prosecutor and now as an aggressive and successful criminal defense lawyer. She has been a trial lawyer handling every type of criminal case from speeding tickets to homicide over the past seventeen (17) yearsShe began her career as a public defender for juveniles in Salt Lake County, Utah. In 2000, she was appointed as an Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Salt Lake where she handled hundreds of DUIs, domestic violence cases and business corruption cases in the Utah State District Court. In 2001, Ms. Fields was recruited to work as a Deputy District Attorney for the Salt Lake County District Attorney{s Office. She also worked on various felony specialty teams, including the Gang Team, Drug Enforcement Team and Major Felony Team. Sharon was next chosen as a trial attorney for Sex Charges on the Special Victim{s Unit – Adult and Child Sexual Assault Prosecution
