Founded in May of 1981 by Gerald Hirsch, Heritage Wine Cellars, Ltd., is owned and operated by Steven Hirsch, who worked alongside his father since the start-up years.Jerry had a vision of creating a premium wine company focused on doing business by emphasizing face to face interaction, taking time to assist customers in developing successful wine programs. He wanted to establish an alternative to the national liquor distribution companies by establishing an independent fine wine only distributorship. Heritage Wine Cellars, Ltd., a progressive and innovative wine company was born.
