Mr. Jody Blevins, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 9 years experience in the mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disability populations, and provides services as needed in private practice through Foothills Services. Mr. Blevins is a North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor, serving the individual adult, individual child, marriage, and family population. He is a graduate of the Psychology and Counseling program at Goddard College. He earned his undergraduate degree in Special Education (concentrations in Emotional Disturbance, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Retardation) from Appalachian State University. Mr. Blevins will provide Professional Counseling and Psychological services, including but not limited to Assessment, Group Work, Case Management, distance counseling, and Individual Therapy, both in mental illness and substance abuse as needed most places in North Carolina (currently serving Ashe, Alleghany, Watauga, Surry, and Wilkes County). Mr. Blevins provides cash fee services payable when services are rendered and accepts Medicaid, some private insurances as well as most major credit cards.
