Anderson Landscaping, Inc. was founded in 1985 by brother and sister, Robert H. Anderson and Christina Anderson-Benn. Equipped with a truck, a tractor, two employees and a strong work ethic they have grown the company to become one of the largest landscape construction companies in Maine. In addition to their team of 25 hardworking, dedicated employees, they also have strong relationships with architects, engineers and specialty contractors that come together to conceive, execute and build landscape projects of the highest quality.Robert grew up on the family cattle and potato farm in North Yarmouth, Maine where his interest in horticulture began at an early age. He went to University of Maine where he studied soil science and horticulture and put that knowledge to use as he built Anderson Landscaping into a full service landscape construction company. In addition, Robert designed and built Toddy Brook Golf course on the family land in 2002. His ability to preserve and enhance the natural rolling, terrain with water, sand and plantings resulted in one of Southern Maine’s most beautiful and challenging courses. Robert is also certified in Erosion Control, is a member of Maine Landscape Nursery Association (MELNA) and is an active member of the North Yarmouth community.
