Having been raised in Lexington, Kentucky you could say that horse racing was programmed into the DNA of Mike Crowley. But he also knew that he wanted to venture out of horse country to experience the world. Mike joined the Navy, became a medic and then pursued his college education on the GI Bill. After graduation he became a pharmaceutical sales rep and was fortunate and talented enough to climb the ranks of the corporate ladder and as such he became an international traveler on the company dime! It was during his time in Europe as an ex-pat that he refined his palate for luscious, complex full-bodied red wines. After many years of travel abroad Mike returned to home to settle on the sunny coast of California at which point he formed his own company and took it public, sold it and then came out of retirement to forge a new operation in the plasma industry called NOVA Biologics, Inc. The success of NOVA Biologics has been the pinnacle of success in Mike’s career and has afforded him the awaited opportunity to pursue the great passions of his life…wine and horses! As such Mike and Peggy Crowley fortunately made their way to the fertile soil and sensational wine growing region of the Central Coast of California and to the bucolic setting of the Santa Ynez Valley…
