Catherine Medling graduated from the Dean{s List at the University of Florida in 1989 before attending the university{s College of Law where she graduated with Honors in 1992. After joining the Florida bar in 1993, Ms. Medling entered the Office of the Public Defender of Kissimmee and Orlando, where she quickly moved up the ladder to be Assistant Public defender and eventually a Division Chief in Orange County.Ms. Medling is renowned throughout Florida for her strong negotiating and written communication skills in addition to her extensive trial practice experience. A member of the State Bar of Florida, the Central Florida Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, and NORML Legal Committee.
