Once upon a time there was a little girl who wanted to go to 4-H camp. She was so excited to be off on her first big adventure away from home. Her mother gave her a little Brownie Hawkeye box camera to take with her, and when she saw that she could capture her world from her perspective on little sheets of paper – well – she fell in love.Even now, forty-three years later, her love affair with her camera is still going strong.The little girl’s name was Jackie, but nowadays most everyone just calls her “Jak”.Jak has traveled over most of the United States and has lived in Kentucky, Florida, Ohio (twice), Oregon and Arizona (twice). Her dream is to retire, live in a motorhome & travel around the country taking pictures.In the summer of 2012 she was able to take a grand road trip from Ohio to Arizona and spent most of that trip cruising along old Route 66. Right now she’s planning out where her next road trip will take her.
