Three potential methods that you will run across include shock collar training, choke chain training and clicker training. These types of trainers are not big on telling you ahead of time that they will be using these methods.We use leadership training and techniques to help our clients naturally elevate themselves above their dogs. When you establish proper leadership with your dog, without using force or negative physical methods, and you have them looking to you for their cues on how to behave, everything comes easier, from correction, to recall, to general behavior including response to obedience commands, even when your dog is under distraction or stimulation.
