As Partners and sisters, Sue Coleman and myself, Carol Amato, opened the center in 1990 with an enrollment capacity for 35 children ranging in ages from 2 months to 6 years of age. Over the past several years, we have continued to meet the needs of our families and have grown to a center capacity of 95 children. Our center has become an integral part of the Northern Ocean County and Southern Monmouth County child care community.Tender Years is conveniently located at 728 Beaver Dam Road, Point Pleasant, NJ . Our hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday twelve months a year. We offer both part time and full time infant, waddler, two, three and pre-kindergarten classes. We have NJ state Certified teachers on staff and all staff members are required to be certified in CPR and basic first aid training. Realizing that parents have busy schedules and work obligations, we schedule closings for only the following major holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
