Pin Oak Kennels was the home of FC/AFC Pin Oak’s Texas Rex and serveral other AKC Field Champions. Scott is currently training and competing with a talented string of dogs, striving for the next Pin Oak Field Champion.Christina (Chris) Anderson grew up in Northeastern Oklahoma surrounded by pets of all types, from the typical cats and dogs, to horses, birds, turtles, fish, mice, rats, snakes, newts, and even a “pet” chicken. Chris chose a career in the military and retired in the US Virgin Islands after 24 years of service. After being without a dog during her time in the service, the first thing she did after retirement was get a puppy from the local animal shelter. She wanted to train the dog, and read everything she could get her hands on about dog behavior and training, as well as attending basic and advanced training workshops. She added another puppy in a few years, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and became a student of retriever training as well.
