Sondra learned the art of cake decorating from her mother who was trained by a French chef. She created wedding cakes for friends out of her kitchen for years before working in a bakery. Her husband saw the need for her to have her own shop to create cakes. Through his hard work and determination The Cake Shoppe came about.
