Our beauty school located in an 11,000-square-foot campus enjoys a prime location in central Reno, just south of the famous downtown area in the heart of the arts and cultural district.Once known as a gambling capital, Reno now draws visitors to its museums, galleries, film festivals, music fairs, and so much more. Truckee River Riverwalk{s galleries, coffee shops, and outdoor amphitheaters provide the perfect backdrop for river rafting and kayaking. Upscale clothing, trendy boutiques, and unique specialty restaurants line CalAve, the popular section of the arts district that runs along California Avenue.With a combined enrollment of over 28,000, the University of Reno and several community colleges serve up a lively college scene for our students to interact with as they learn to get the most out of their time attending beauty school. Less than an hour away, Lake Tahoe{s crystal clear water provides year-round recreation. From spring to early fall, the lake offers boating, sailboat racing, firework shows, guided cruises, and lakefront dining. The panoramic mountains provide hundreds of hiking and biking trails as well as breathtaking wilderness camping spots. Winter offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world at Heavenly Mountain and Squaw Valley, along with alternative sports like sledding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.
