A native of Springfield, Missouri, Dr. Stewart obtained a BA degreee from Drury University and received his Master{s in Public Health from the University of Missouri in 1969. He then attended the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine, from which he graduated in 1974, opening his practice in Bolivar, Missouri in June of the same year.Dr. Stewart is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. His wife, Darwina, is a registered nurse, ideally suited to assist him with the clinic. They reside in Bolivar with their two dogs, Bruno and Brianna, and four cats, Onyx, Rosie, Stormy and Missy.
