Sparacino Law

Demetrios A. Sparacino is a tax attorney, estate planner and civil litigator.  His practice is extremely rare in the sense that he has the ability to handle matters in taxation, probate as well as civil law.  His knowledge, insight and legal experience in these areas of law make him the quintessential lawyer.  Mr. Sparacino{s view towards the law is that it is a profession with an honorable history that must be preserved and protected.  To that end, Mr. Sparacino brings a morality and ethic that is lacking in today{s lawyer.Mr. Sparacino has extensive experience handling tax matters.  While earning his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.), he worked for a San Diego tax firm.  While at that firm he garnered the experience necessary to handle pre-litigation, collections and litigation though Appeals and Tax Court.  With his litigation background, Mr. Sparacino excelled when it came to preparing for trial in Tax Court.  He brings this knowledge and experience to his own practice.Mr. Sparacino{s legal career started as an insurance defense litigator for a well known firm.  His practice focused on complex litigation that often involved newsworthy matters and novel issues. Mr. Sparacino often serves as a consultant on motion writing, case analysis, valuation and trial preparation.Mr. Sparacino was nominated as a Top Young Attorney for 2011.  He is also scheduled to teach as a professor of tax law at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, in the area of tax controversy/tax litigation.Mr. Sparacino is a native San Diegan.  His family has long standing ties to San Diego{s Little Italy.  He was born, raised and completed all of his education in San Diego.  Mr. Sparacino received his B.A. from the University of San Diego, where he was a merit scholarship recipient and received departmental honors and was a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society.While earning his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he was awarded the Witkin and CALI awards for academic excellence in Federal Income Tax.  While earning his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the prestigious University of San Diego Graduate Tax Program (6th in the Nation) he learned from renowned experts in Estates, Corporate Taxation and Tax Litigation.
