Founded in 1946, Benson & Neff is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section and the SEC Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). As a long-standing member of these sections, our firm undergoes a comprehensive peer review every three years. Benson & Neff has consistently received "Unqualified" approval for our quality control policies and procedures. In addition, our directors regularly serve as reviewers of policies and procedures for other AICPA member firms.
From the beginning, a major portion of our practice has rested on serving businesses, individuals, estates, and trusts. Two of our firm{s principals are active members of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council; another has completed the Personal Financial Planning curriculum offered by the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. And because we believe that our clients deserve only the most up-to-date advice, our professionals participate in a substantial number of continuing professional education programs each year. Every CPA at Benson & Neff is a member of both the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
