David H. Carmichael has been active as a trial lawyer since he was admitted to practice. For over 30 years, he has been honored with the designation of “AV PREEMINENT LAWYER” (the highest lawyer rating attainable from the firm of Martindale-Hubble). He has tried lawsuits for clients involving the full spectrum of factual disputes and legal issues including major personal injury cases, violation of securities laws, construction defect cases, contested probate claims and trade secret violations. The major emphasis, however, has been on commercial and business litigation, including major issues of claims made for major damages resulting from the violation of intellectual property rights. He has also performed legal services for clients doing business, or seeking to do business, in several European countries. Mr. Carmichael has been admitted to practice for the purpose of litigating client’s cases in the courts of Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Maryland and Wyoming.
