Severn Christian Church began as the First Christian Church in Glen Burnie, Maryland in May, 1957. After officially moving to New Cut Road in 1998, the established mission of this congregation was to "equip the saints to make disciples."At SCC, you will find people who are excited about the Lord Jesus Christ and the salvation that comes only through Him. You will find love, hope, and faith implemented through our relational mentality. We seek to please God through outreaching to our community, caring for the lowly, and imparting our lives to each other (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8). This is accomplished through our ministries, small groups, discipleship program, services, and outreach events. Families are extremely important to us. Our staff is dedicated to partnering with you to make your family{s experience in Christ excellent! We are dedicated to restoring the congregation to New Testament Christianity. We believe strongly in objective truth taught in the bible and seek to proclaim it in everything we do.
