Bob was born and raised in Massachusetts, He began to take an interest in photography at the very early age of 16, photographing sports for the Telegram and Gazette newspaper. On his 16th birthday Bob went with his Uncle Nick who was a sports writer for the T&G newspaper. Nick was covering A University of Massachusetts football game. Nick gave his nephew a sideline photography pass for the game after he discovered Bob{s fascination with photography. The next morning Bob{s photograph was on the front cover of the sports section. Although photography started as a hobby, it soon became his first love. By 16 years old, Bob{s work was all over the newspaper and his high-school yearbook, his guidance counselor noticed his talent and motivated Bob to pursue he{s dream of becoming a professional photographer by looking into photography schools across the country. While working at the Telegram and Gazette as a part time stringer and Wyman Gordon Company as a Part time industrial photographer, Bob attended Rhode Island School Of Photography after High School.
