Hello! I{m Melissa. Welcome to Restless Wings Photography!I began my photography journey in high school, when my grandfather got me my first 35mm camera. I dabbled, and regularly used black and white film. Several years passed before I picked up my first DSLR camera and really started to learn what photography meant to me. I was learning every day and found that I was hungry for more. I was still in the Army and deployed to Iraq when I had the opportunity to combine two of my greatest loves - writing and photography - by writing articles for our Public Affairs Office. I was ending my time on active duty and knew this was what I wanted to do with my life.
