Deep, dark, blood red with brick red edges. Crushed cherry, red fruits, raspberry, caramel and licorice all come to mind. Spices are also evident along with mineral and earthy complexities. Nice pure fruit flavors give way to earthy savory characters and a firm palate with structure to ensure a long life ahead of it. Initially a full creamy palate the wine evolves through to a strong finish with the classic Brunello signature of sour cherry. A complex and interesting wine that deserves the time to explore and savor. Pair with red meats and anything with tomato based sauces. Osso bucco is a classic match.Vineyards
