Animal Medical Clinic of South Boston offers quality veterinary care for small animals. Dr. Kathryn Dixon Edmunds provides expert services for cats and dogs. Our hospital is open early and late Monday through Friday and early on Saturday for your convenience.When you want your pet to be healthy and happy, bring them to the Animal Medical Clinic—we have the skills and technology to give them the quality care they deserve. Boarding services are offered to our established clients. We board cats and small dogs weighing less than forty pounds. Dogs need to be current within the last twelve months on distemper/parvo, kennel cough, and rabies vaccinations. Cats need to be current within the last twelve months on feline distemper, and rabies vaccinations. Both dogs and cats need to have a current negative intestinal parasite exam within the last twelve months. Dogs are fed twice daily, and hand walked at least three times daily. Cats are provided clean litter boxes. All pets are provided comfortable bedding. The clinic also supplies food for your pet. If your pet is on a special diet, we encourage you to bring their food from home. We will also gladly give your pet any required medications while it is staying with us.
