Meyer Landscaping, Inc started as a partnership between twin brothers, Ronald andRoland Meyer, in the spring of 1970 when they graduated from Southwest MissouriState University.They received comprehensive Bachelor of Science degrees. Ronald’s degree is in Business Management while Roland’s degree is in Business Marketing.Ronald has been landscaping since 1963 as he worked for Harold F. HagemannLandscaping (his uncle) each summer through his high school and college years.Meyer Landscaping employs 25-30 people during the peak busy season. Oneemployee has been with the company for 30 years and several others for at least17 years. Meyer Landscaping has one licensed landscape architect, one certifiedhorticulturist with a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture, and three certifiedcommercial pesticide applicators licensed by the Missouri Department of Agriculture,and numerous licensed technicians.
