In August of 2002 Augusta Veterinary Hospital and Valley Animal Hospital announced a merger to combine the two hospitals into one new hospital. The merger has brought two of Staunton{s strongest veterinary practices. It has provided tremendous benefits for clients and their pets. The blending of the two hospital staffs has enabled Augusta/Valley Animal Hospital the opportunity to offer a wider variety of services with more combined veterinarian experience. The new, convenient, state-of-the-art facility has accommodated a range of animal care resources not possible in small clinics.
