"opened for business" when I was 9 in a corner of my parent{s home. It was dark only at night and if the windows were covered with blankets. but it was a start, and taking pictures "was fun." It{s still fun today, and also exciting because of the power of photography to document special moments, communicate ideas and emotions, and capture glimpses of Creation{s beauty. It can introduce you to a place you{ve never seen, show you a time before your own, or bring immediacy and life to cherished memories. Photography also teaches you to "see," to notice scenes, objects, and people that once might have escaped attention.
