It is the mission of Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford to teach and preach the word of God to all people and to win souls for Jesus Christ. It is the mission to further aid the saved in having a closer walk with Jesus and to those who have strayed away, to bring about repentance and a return to the Lord. Moreover, to those who have never trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, to impart salvation.We at Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford believe that in order to reach our mission we must be diligent in prayer and bible study. Moreover, we stand by the Holy Scriptures that will assist us with our mission that God has set out for us: "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it, except the LORD keep the city, the watchman but in vain" Psalm 127:1 "trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and with all thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths" Proverbs 3:5-6. " And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33
