Rose-Marie Fay, D.D.S., M.S. Art of Dentistry at Sweetwater

Dr. Fay received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979.  She received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas in 1986 where she was ranked at the top of her class.She has practiced dentistry for 28 years.  Her career has included both private practice and teaching.  As an assistant professor at the University of Texas-Houston Dental Branch, she developed the undergraduate program for cosmetic dentistry.  She received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biomaterials.  She was part of the Biomaterials Testing group and took part in many research projects and the testing of dental materials.  She has been featured in newspaper articles and television interviews on various dental topics with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry.  She has authored journal articles and has given presentations on cosmetic dentistry at local, national, and international events. She is a contributing author for a book titled “Color in Dentistry.”  She is an adjunct assistant professor at the Dental Branch.Dr. Fay has been a member of many organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association of Dental Research, and the American Dental Educators Association.  Continuing education is an essential part of any dental professional’s career. Dr. Fay is committed to lifetime learning to better serve her patients.Recently, Dr. Fay has been honored by her selection as Dentist of the Year for 2011 by Cambridge Who{s Who, a national organization which recognizes professionals who have made significant contributions to their field.
