Welcome to Tallassee, Alabama, "the Treasure on the Tallapoosa". We are a small but growing town in south central Alabama. We are strategically located 10 minutes from I-85, 20 minutes to Auburn and the State Capitol of Montgomery. Tallassee is the industrial core of Elmore county.
