After visiting a number of California wine regions Robert Olson, owner and President, believed there was great potential in Temecula Valley and set out to purchase a vineyard and winery. Rich in history, Olson purchased Filsinger Vineyards and Winery in 2010 from Dr. William Filsinger. Founded in 1978 by Dr. William and Katharine Filsinger, the 35 acres of vineyard property was planted with Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc grapes in 1972 and was the first to plant Gewürztraminer grapes in Southern California, which later became a signature wine for the winery.Wine brings people together…. Because wine is made for sharing, its flavors turn a lazy afternoon on the patio, dinner with friends or a special occasion into something extraordinary. Wine helps create memories, and for Robert Olson, owner of Danza del Sol Winery, wine has become his family’s legacy.
