Born in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Lindy was blessed to be surrounded by beautiful scenery throughout her childhood. Thus, her passion comes from her surroundings. When she picked up the camera for the first time in high school, her whole life change. From the first time she could portray her talent through the lens she found her meaning of life.She followed her passion to the coast of California, where she attended the Brooks Institute of Photography. Here she was taught, by some of the countries most talented photographers, how to advance her talents and produce them into a true photograph.Lindy was able to explore every aspect of the photography world, but chose advertising as her BA, thus allowing her to expand her techniques. Once she graduated in 2003, she set off to put her teachings into the real world. This was when she discovered her love of portraiture. She moved to Texas and dove into family portraiture, but still felt she could do more. This is when she started to assist in wedding photography. She was captured by the love and passion this special event could have on a family. She wanted to learn the technique to allow herself the ability to capture that day for those families, so that they themselves, can live those moments over and over through her photographs.
