FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH was founded in 1867 by J.B. McAfee, who envisioned a place where God’s name would be honored, where people would find a loving and caring fellowship, where children and adults would learn and grow from the Scriptures as they develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior, and where people would find avenues for service to Christ and the Topeka community.
