Dr. Minta Keyes fell in love with an orange tabby named “Butterfingers” as a young child and found her life calling. She graduated from Oregon State University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1988, and then completed internship training in small animal medicine and surgery at Coast Pet Clinic Animal Cancer Center in Hermosa Beach, California.She travelled to Tufts University for residency training in small animal medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (SAIM). Her special interests include endocrinology, nephrology/urology and geriatric medicine. She lives with 5 cats, a teenage daughter and a very patient husband.Dr. Keyes is the owner of the Cat Hospital of Tucson and is focused on providing gentle, above and beyond service for your cat, coming along side you as you help your cat enjoy life…no matter what stage of life they are in.
