As a photojournalist at a major metropolitan newspaper for twenty years, and as a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Michael Fein{s work fuses a sense of immediacy with an artistic sensibility. Accustomed to fast-breaking news, political campaigns, the international fashion scene, and professional sports, He is adept at capturing the essence of the moment. Fein{s travel photographs from around the world and his portraits of actors, musicians, political leaders, and ordinary individuals demonstrate an impressive range of sensitvity to people and place. Since leaving the Boston Herald, Fein has photographed for travel publications, health care, and financial institutions. He has continued to work in publishing for a number of magazines and news organizations.
