Christian Quaker agency of Indiana Yearly Meeting seeking to meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of children and their families. Founded in 1850, White's is the oldest and largest private child care facility in Indiana which offers help to troubled and needy children of all ages. Through residential, emergency shelter, home-based services and foster care programs, White's serves more than 1300 children each year. The residential campus, located south of Wabash, provides care for teens ages 11-18. Students receive emotional and spiritual guidance while being cared for by professional treatment teams. White's operates an on-campus public high school of the Metropolitan School District of Wabash County, with a teaching staff of 28, and offers a GED prep program to its residential students. White's Family Service, the foster care agency of White's, provides care to children of all ages through 222 licensed foster homes thoughout the state. In addition to their Wabash office, Family Services also operates satellite offices in Merrillville, Indianapolis, Lawrenceburg, and South Bend, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Anderson, and Rennsselear.
