Matt began his love of photography in high school when one day he picked up his father{s old Nikon, dusted it off, and began shooting. Over 15 years later Matt has honed his craft and built a solid name for himself in the photographic community. In 2006 Matt opened the doors of Matt Swalling Photography. In 2008 he completed the construction of an in home 900 sq ft studio dedicated to bringing the best in photographic services to the Mat-Su Valley.In 2008 Matt brought the skills of his beautiful wife Bridget to the business, where she now runs daily operations of the studio, and assists with weddings, portraits, and commercial work.Matt{s first love in photography was, and still is, the natural world. His fine art prints hang in many local homes and several local businesses, including the Captain Cook Hotel and throughout the Hilton Hotel in Anchorage.
