I began grooming in the early 1970{s. I apprenticed with an Afghan Hound handler that taught me the foundations of grooming. I showed Standard Poodles and groomed in her salon in Arkansas before relocating to Kansas. In 1980 I started grooming at Royale Poodle owned by Bill Renfro. I opened Pampered Pets in 1982 and have been grooming since. I am owned by 6 Pharaoh Hounds (as seen above) all which have multiple AKC and ASFA championships. In my spare time away from the grooming shop, I enjoy dog shows and lure coursing (non profit dog racing) and quilting. My daughter Amanda works with me in the morning, helping to check in the dogs. She is 26 and has grew up in this business. We look forward to meeting you and your 4 footed family member in the future.
