Now in their sixth year of dental practice, Drs. David and Jill Merrell are delighted to be home in Western North Carolina. Jill completed her undergraduate studies at University of North Carolina at Asheville, and David completed his studies at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Both attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Wide Ranging Dental SkillsWhile Dr. David embarked on a four-year journey with the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, Dr. Jill worked stateside in private practice. Prior to returning home to Western North Carolina, the couple lived and practiced all over the country, including Chicago, Illinois; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Spartanburg, South Carolina. A Close-Knit FamilyThe Merrells have two beautiful children, three-year-old Mitchell and five-year-old Evelyn. In their spare time, they enjoy bicycling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. They look forward to establishing new relationships in the greater Weaverville area.
