Sure Shot Kennel.Pat also Participates in AKC as an active Field Trial and Hunt Test judge. Pat began training dogs in 1969. Her first dog, an Alaskan Malamute, became the #1 obedience dog in the country the following year. With the purchase of a German Shorthaired Pointer, and the establishment of Sure Shot Kennels, she proceeded to earn over 500 titles in Field, Conformation, Obedience and Tracking Competitions. These titles were attained in both the U.S. and Canada as the Breeder, Trainer, Owner and/or Handler. She further personalized training and assistance for all dogs and humans, to develop their relationship that makes a dog a pleasure to own instead of a responsiblity to be tolerated. Articles featureing her training methods have been published in GUN DOG MAGAZINEPat has worked with the Zion. Illinios Police Department to train their working police dogs in Tracking and Search and Rescue.Pat is a graduate of Univesity of Illinois with a Major in Biology and Chemisty and a minor in Genetics, Nutrition and Animal Behavior.
